- The weekend of September 6-7, 2008 has been
set aside to celebrate this important milestone. Anyone who has
ever been involved at Dallas Valley, whether as a
camper,
camper parent, staff member, board member, volunteer, or in any
other way is welcome to attend this event. God has truly blessed
Dallas Valley over the last 25 years with many helping hands
and a steady growth in youth campers. In recent years camps for
adults have been added and have been very well received. We are
truly thankful for all the people who have been involved in helping
at the camp and for all of the campers who have come to camp
over the past 25 years.
Keep
your eyes and ears open for details about the celebrations.
We would love to see people come from 1983 all the way through
year number 25! Our immediate task is creating a contact list
of people who have been involved over the past 25 years.
-
- If you feel that you can help us in finding postmail and
email addresses, and phone numbers of our alumni, please
contact us.
-
- If you have pics of your days at DVRC, scan a few, attach
them to an email and
send them to LaVerne Jantz.

- The 25th Planning Team is in
place and hard at work. Six committees are working out the details
for promotion, registration, program, history,
food service and logistics. We anticipate as many
as 1000 Dallas Valley alumni will "come home" to the
camp that made a significant contribution to the shaping of their
lives. There will be no charge for this event, but rather a fund
raising project will be identified to which people can contibute
as they see fit.
