Conestoga

Conestoga is a western pioneer style satelite camp setting 3/4 of a kilometer north of the main camp.

It is utilized for Dallas Valley's teen and junior teen programs in July and August,

but is available for rental in late spring to the end of June, and in September.

 

Looking southeast from the west rim of Boggy Creek Valley.

The 'Rumble Wagon' serves as the dining room,

recreation room, and chapel.

 

"Conestoga" was the name of the big covered wagons used by pioneers in the opening of the western plains of North America.   Conestoga is the 'home' of the Western Riding, Senior & Junior Teen sessions in the summer.
