  Firearms Camp is
a new venture for our summer camping program in 2012.
- Campers who attend this camp will take the
Canadian Firearms Safety Course from a qualified instructor.
Topics covered in this course will include ..
.. the evolution of firearms, major parts,
types and actions,
.. basic firearms safety practices,
.. ammunition,
.. operating firearm actions,
.. safe handling and carry procedures,
.. firing techniques and procedures,
.. care of non-restricted firearms,
.. responsibilities of the firearms owner/user,
.. safe storage, display, transportation and
handling of non-restricted firearms.

- Campers will have the opportunity to aquire
their Saskatchewan Hunter Safety Certification and
Possession Acquisition License.
- Other activities will include learning hunting
techniques, archery, swimming, wide games, chapel, campfires
and cabin group times. This camp is limited to 21 campers.

- Adventure Point is Dallas Valley's newest satellite camp with a multi
purpose lodge overlooking the Boggy Creek Valley below. The lodge
will provide living and accommodations for the campers who attend
the Firearms camp session.
