CITY CAMP

PARENTS INFO

We can't wait for you to join us and want to make sure you feel prepared upon your arrival.  Check out the details below to know when you're arriving, what to bring and more!

Camp Opening-Drop off

  • Registration on Monday is from 8:00-8:40 a.m. Please try to arrive during that time. WE CANNOT REGISTER CAMPERS BEFORE THAT TIME! We can register them later if it’s absolutely necessary and if you advise us ahead of time.

  • Tuesday - Friday Early drop off will be available starting at 7:45 am. This is a supervised, non-programmed time, to help facilitate your work schedule. Normal drop off time is 8:30 am Tuesday - Friday.

Camp CLOSING - PICK UP

  • Camp closes each day at 4:00 pm. There will be after camp care for kids until 5:30 pm. Please pick up your children before then. On Friday there will be a closing program at 4:00 pm, family and friends are welcome to attend. Please stay for the closing session. Campers love the chance to be together one last time and to say goodbye to friends and their leaders. There will be an offering taken for the operating fund of the camp.

BEFORE AND AFTERCARE

  • There is an additional fee of $15(tax incl.) for Before care and $15(tax incl.) for Aftercare for the week per child.

Health Matters

  • Campers shall keep any medications in their lunch bag till the time they need them.  Please inform us of any allergies or health problems so we can keep your child safe. There will be first aid workers present if needed.

What to bring

  • Bag Lunch (each day)

  • Bible (if you have one), pen and note pad

  • Bathing suit, for water games they will not be going to a pool. (if modesty is in question the camper may be asked to wear a shirt over the swimsuit)

  • Hat

  • Water bottle

  • Running Shoes

  • Insect repellant and sunscreen

Do not bring

  • Any electronic gadgets, music players, video game players

  • Cell phones (PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILD’S CELL PHONE AT HOME EACH DAY)

  • Liquor, tobacco and other "drugs" are not allowed.

  • Knives 

Finances

Cancellation Policy

  • City Camp registrations must pay the entire fee of $150 upon registration. If you choose to cancel your City Camp week there is a $75 refund of the fee if you cancel by Monday noon more than a week before your registered camp date. If you cancel less than a week from your camp date there will be a $50 refund on the fee.

  • In order to accommodate the concerns of families, we have updated our refund policy.  A full refund will be issued to any camper who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to others who have.  In addition, if a week of camp has to be cancelled due to a directive of the local health authorities, a full refund will be issued. Family Discount

  • Family discounts are available for those with more than 2 children. Each registration after the first two at regular price will receive $35 off. You must notify the office if you qualify for this discount.

Special NOTE

TO PARENTS

  • We will be issuing receipts by email to speed up our registration lines. Please ensure your email on file with us is accurate when filling out your registration form.

  • Some parents have been using camp receipts at income tax time. If you intend to do this, please keep the receipt issued to you by email.

  • We do the camper and cabin placements a few days before each camp session. We will do our best to honour their cabin mate preference indicated on the registration form.

  • Phone calls and visits to camp during the day are not permitted. Please call us only in case of an emergency and we will do the same for you. Please keep your child’s cell phone at home for the week. Thank you.
